Do not fear death so much, but rather the inadequate life.

This memorial website was created to remember
our dearestSue Scholz
Sue was born in Korea,
on February 27, 1962 and passed away on July 25, 2009. She was my sister, she was a mother, she was a daughter and she was a friend. She will live forever in our memories and hearts and will be terribly missed.
No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye you were gone before we knew it and only god knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow what it means to lose you no one will ever know.

MY SISTER SUE
Sue is one of the most respected person I know and I'm proud to call her my big sis.
Sue had goals in life. Her goals were to succeed....in everything. We had no money,
no house
We grew up poor living in the projects and we learned to depend on each other. .
Our mother was a single mother working at the canneries. Sue and I started working at a young age.
She worked at McDonalds and burger king and I at jack in the box.
Then she became a single mother herself and that made her more determined then ever!
She worked harder....she wanted things for her child that she never had growing up. We worked at the travelers Is together and then at sc funding together, we went through very much together. In 1990 she started working as a casual trying hard to get into this longshoreman job she talked so highly of. I remember how devoted and headstrong she was as she went down to 'the hall' every single day. She even talked me to go down once! she would also encourage others to also..
but no one could match her determination and she then got in. She was a longshoreman. I was always proud when I told people what she did for a living. Yes, my sister, doing that great big job!!
She than began making serious money as she worked 7 days a week a lot of the times. She began getting all the things she did not have as a child ....a house, a nice car,and she provided well for her two children as well as a lot of their friends. There were a few times she has helped me out of a pickle...I'll never forget her love she had for us, her family.
Everyone loved Sue, how could anyone not? She's everything I wish I could be.

Aunt Sue was one of the sweetest people
I have ever met.
She was so friendly and kind.
She would remember the sweetest things.
I had made a collage of interesting pictures and had shown it to
her once, pointing out a small picture of a chair with a red book opened on it.
The next time I saw her she had remembered and vividly described the picture to others as if she was presently looking at it.
Her voice was so friendly.
I could always tell when she was on the phone because she sounded like she was constantly happy.
She was the only person to ever call me Nikki. It made me feel really special.
Aunt Sue was very loving and
she will be greatly missed by many.

My mom was always there for me when I needed help. She did even the slightest things for me and my brother. She was the kind of person if you ask for help, you were guaranteed to get it. Not only with us, but she was like that with all our family members , co workers and friends.
We had our differences I always thought she was hard on me now I understand that it was just because she wanted me to succeed in life. She also took us on family vacations to Mexico and Hawaii. We had a lot of fun; sometimes it was easy to forget that I was there with my mom. It was important to her that we went places together as a family, she liked to make memories. Because of this, I have memories that will last a lifetime

I met Sue back in the 80's, she was a friend of my cousin. She was a beautiful girl and very nice. I loved her hair. After many years of not seeing her, I finally got to work for her. After seeing my name on my work ticket, she asked me if I was related to my cousin Liz. I said yes, and we instantly became friends again. Whenever we had a chance we would talk, and only stop because they'd be calling me on the radio wondering where I was. I sure will miss those talks, that kindness she had towards me and everyone who worked for her, but mostly I'm going to miss that beautiful smile.
Miss You,
~Jerry~

Miss Sue Scholz,
One of the most exemplary amazing individuals I was ever blessed to spend time with. I went with her and her beautiful family to not only Hawaii but also Mazatlan mexico. What stands out in my mind, is how she always kept positivity in motion. She filled our days and nights with beautiful activities. She made each vacation the best I ever experienced. She took advantage of every moment, and made miracles appear from thin air. A true independent, strong, self made woman. She was the most economically sound person I knew. What a business-woman, mother, friend, mentor, hard worker, longshorewoman! She once told me " You are one of the most intelligent people I know" coming from Sue that was quite a compliment. She lived a righteous life of simplicity, truth, and balance. True spiritual progress is measured in how many people you hinder (harm) versus how many you help (love), Sue harmed no one, led by example, and offered truth and unconditional love. Sue, Thank You for everything, pray for us down here, I love you, god bless!

The death of my daughter, Sue, was a big shock to me.
It seems unfair that God would take her away so soon.
No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun.
For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest.
I want you all to know that my thoughts
are with you during this difficult time. Sue would always give of herself without hesitation, even
when she knew that there was no benefit to her in doing so.
She was always full of energy, and she would
always be there for her friends and family.
It's just seems unreal to think that she's gone.
I really miss her and I'll always cherish the days I spent with her,
even though that this was not all as
often as I would have liked it to be.
She was a gifted in many ways.
Helen, Michelle, Paul, Danielle, Nathan, Nicole, Families and Friends...
I want you to know that I'm here
for you whenever you have the need.
God does not test people who do
not have the courage to pass the test.
It is important to keep the faith and move on with ones life.
In loving memory,
Norbert & Antonia

To the Family, In this time of bereavement, It’s important that you know That God will always be with you- Lean on Him when you think there’s nowhere to go.
When you’re at your lowest point, And you don’t know what to do, Go to God in prayer, And He will carry you through.

Stop It. This can't be real. Such a lovely woman. That smile. Her warmth. Sue was one of the few bosses I was always happy to see. She was nice, friendly, always had her crew's back. Giving. She was a giving boss. Yet she hung with the boys. She was no wimp; an equal. Gone? So tragic. My heart bleeds. Ugh.
